back from hong kong!! :):)
the five days there were not bad, but i would seriously rather have been in singapore, spending christmas with my friends. -sulks. oh well. putting that aside.. i won't go through every day of my life in hong kong, you will be dead bored after reading.
i took a few photos! so i will blog about them plus a few nice things about hong kong. :)
hehe, so cool right? i drank this on my first dinner! super gas-y though! x(
their version of prawns! omg, SUPER HARD LAH THE SHELL! and damn sharp. =/. i keep hurting myself trying to eat it. x-x it's like.. mini lobster! i don't remember how it taste like, but i remember the shell is DAMN HARD!!
steamboat dinner on christmas! :) see the thing that is held by the chopsticks? vermicelli! it's damn cool lah, the way they roll it up! super nice. hahaha. everyone was digging for it in the steamboat and passing it to me! LOL! x))
tickets to disneyland! those are the only four i can find. haha, but pretty right!! <3

this picture was taken because.. HAHA! i was complaining that they purposely make me look shorter in the previous picture. then my dad was like, okay lah, we give in to you. LOL! so they all squat down in front of me. =P
the very thing i wanted to do at disney was to take a picture with beloved stitch. <3 I LITERALLY RAN TO THE QUEUE WHEN I SAW STITCH! LOL!

and, I SAT CABLE CAR OKAY! SO SCARY! then my dad keep shaking the cable car. :( walao eh..
i did not sit ANY of the rides at ocean park. hahahaha! i was so scared can? plus i was already feeling headache-ish and vomit-ish.
oh, i sat space mountain at disney! was scary enough. omg.
AND THE STITCH SHOW AT DISNEY IS SO CUTE!! <33
so cute right?!?!! we bought the spectacles at about SGD 10.
but you know what? i left mine on the plane. *angry. i like the specs a lot okay! sigh. :( :( now it's down to just memories. sulks.
anyway, quite a few people thought that leonard (extreme right) is my older brother! LOL! just so you guys know, leonard is 4 years younger than me and willard (middle) is 6 years younger than me. i don't think we look like we are so many years apart from each other right? hehe. ;D
i tell you what was the best thing in hongkong! hahaha.- i love my tour guide. he's 55, but he's really cool and stylish. speaks english, chinese, and a lot of dialects. friendly, and good looking for his age (i feel). ;D i have his number you know! =P
- i bought DAMN A LOT OF THINGS! but most of them for myself. =x
- 2 pairs of boots. (~$40 each)
- 2 pairs of REALLY CHIO shoes. ($100~$200+ for each but daddie paid so nevermind)
- 1 hoodie.
- 2 t-shirts.
- 2 shirts.
- got more than $200 worth of stuff @ disneyland. (keychains and all)
- 1 tie.
- socks.
- disney watch. (auntie give de ;D)
okay, i can't remember what else. but i spent a lot a lot in hong kong. i actually wanted to take a photo of everything i bought. but it got so messy, i decided to just forget it. =p
flight was delayed because of the strike at the airport in hongkong or something. reached singapore at about 1plus in the morning on monday. cabbed home, unpacked my luggauge and straightaway switched on my computer to check for project stuff. wah, almost none did anything. *smacks. nevermind. slept so little but still decided to go for my 9am lecture because i thought i could make use of the 2 hour break to discuss stuff with my project mates. but walao! none of them turned up for the lecture! *faints.

so abrupt, but i wanna talk about 2008.
first, i must say that 2008 is the sickest year for me yet. omg, injuries, illnesses, everything!
actually, i cannot remember. i think 2008 started on a bad note right? yeah.. school issues and all. i vaguely remember how last year, this time i was crying because of.. someone. hahaha. so silly, come to think of it now. and then it continued with a story that shouldn't have started. sigh. it's something i pretty regret. and then i met a new person, and things went a bit wrong. but i'm glad i didn't rush things through, otherwise i would have regretted it all my life. and now, with the best person ever beside me, all i can say is that 2008 is ending on a very good note. :)
in 2008, i ate my first bite of subway! LOL!
in 2008, i drank my first cup of alcohol with grace!
in 2008, i experienced something i never thought i ever would!
in 2008, i witnessed the pain of losing a dear friend.
in 2008, i learnt that you cannot just live life in the present, but also to look into the future.
i think in 2008, it's like a puberty stage for my mental state. i think i've grown a little more. :) but in 2008, i'm glad; it may have been my sickest year, but have also been the best yet. :) i've lost some, but i've gain much. i've told myself again and again, i want to treasure whatever i have now. therefore, the most important resolution for me in 2009 is not to take anything for granted and treasure everyone to the best of my ability. :)
here's the cliche part. i hope 2008 has been good to all of you. if not, i hope that you guys can learn to let go and not live 2009 with hatred. brave up to the new year with your best smile, and it will be better for you. :)
i am looking forward to 2009. the start of a brand new year, the start of a brand new story.
here's wishing everyone a very happy year ahead. :) i hope that this upcoming year will be a great one for all of you. :)
